‘Marker’ or a ‘cremation stone’ is a smaller memorial which can be used either as an alternative or as an addition when there is no space left on the main headstone.

Markers come in 4 basic shapes, cube vases, wedges, plaques and books.

Top tip: when choosing a marker stone it is wise to first decide on your inscription as this will determine what shape and size you will require. Certain shapes can provide more inscription space than others.

At Whiteside Memorials, we recommend the ‘desk vase’ shape as it is robust, heavy, good value for money and can accommodate a flower vase.
